Purpose and Objectives

The Head of Digital Americas O2C HUB will lead and manage the Order-to-Cash (O2C) operations across the Americas region within the Global Finance Services (GFS) organization. This role is responsible for overseeing regional teams supporting SAP Ariba Cash Collections, SAP Concur Digital Collections and Concur O2I. The role ensures operational excellence, strategic alignment, and continuous improvement across all O2C-related functions, including billing, cash collection, customer engagement, and integration of new Lines of Business (LoBs).

Success in this role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders across Finance, Controlling, and Commercial teams, as well as maintaining productive relationships with external customers and global partners.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead and support the regional management team overseeing Ariba and Concur O2C operations.

· Ensure the successful execution of finance operations in the Americas region, including cash collection, billing, and order-to-invoice processes.

· Manage month-end close activities and ensure accurate financial reporting.

· Engage with senior leadership to identify and mitigate financial and operational risks.

· Champion the adoption of global best practices and ensure process standardization across regions.

· Foster a culture of agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the O2C team.

· Act as a change leader to drive transformation and operational excellence.

· Design and implement upskilling and end-to-end training initiatives for regional teams.

· Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure alignment on cross-regional strategies and frameworks.

· Drive integration and onboarding of new business units and Lines of Business (LoBs) into the O2C framework with minimal disruption.

Qualifications and Experience

· 5 years of GFS experience (CC, O2I, SDC preferred).

· 2 to 5 years of proven leadership experience in finance operations, with a focus on Order-to-Cash processes.

· Strong understanding of global finance functions, process optimization, and shared services environments.

· Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic and complex organizational structure.

· Experience working with cloud-based platforms such as SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass, SAP Concur, etc. is strongly preferred.

· Track record of driving transformation, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

· Experience in managing teams and projects.

· Experience in Transformations and Agile tools.

· Key commercial business knowledge.

Education and qualifications/ skills and competencies

· Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred.

· Thorough knowledge of SAP FI, SD, Ariba Admin, Concur Salesforce and other collection tools

· Very good MS Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

· Excellent English skills.

· Experience in managing & measuring process improvement.

· Innovative and change-friendly mindset, interest in pioneering new GFA processes and tools in the digital volume world.

· Data driven and analytical thinking.

· Strong sense of responsibility, reliability and quality-oriented work

· Escalation Management

Preferred knowledge and experience:

· Besides the requested work experience: experience in sales or in interacting with customers

· Experience using a customer relationship management tool (CRM tool)

· Knowledge of the procure to pay business process from purchase requisition to payment
