We help the world run better

At SAP, we enable you to bring out your best. Our company culture is focused on collaboration and a shared passion to help the world run better. How? We focus every day on building the foundation for tomorrow and creating a workplace that embraces differences, values flexibility, and is aligned to our purpose-driven and future-focused work. We offer a highly collaborative, caring team environment with a strong focus on learning and development, recognition for your individual contributions, and a variety of benefit options for you to choose from.

What you'll do

Do you already have some experience in professional software development? Then come and join our team for SAP Landscape Management (LaMa), the development team for the automation and orchestration solution for a massive number of global SAP systems for our customers.

Large enterprises are currently being supported in migrating their existing ERP data, processes, and functions to the cloud with “RISE With SAP“. The technical core of this offering is the SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition. This is where our product “SAP Landscape Management“ comes into play as we automate and manage the provisioning and operation of customer systems.

This is your chance to contribute to SAP‘s successful products as a Full-Stack (Associate) Developer. In a highly motivated team in Walldorf, you will have comprehensive responsibility and a diverse range of tasks to further develop your expertise and work on strategic projects like “SAP Landscape Management“ – always with an agile approach, a strong cloud mindset, and a quality-first perspective in mind.

What you bring

As a Full-Stack (Associate) Developer (f/m/d), you will play a vital role in the SAP Landscape Management team and therefore bring the following expertise:

  • Practical experience with Java
  • Practical experience in agile software development
  • Basic knowledge of ABAP, SAPUI5/HTML5, and/or experience in developing modules at the host level (Perl, Python, scripting) is a plus
  • Passion for analyzing and solving problems in complex software applications
  • Quality awareness, eagerness to learn, and resilience in daily work

Your professional experience is as follows:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or Business Informatics – or a comparable qualification
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in software development

Additionally, you possess an agile cloud mindset and strive for continuous improvement of current development processes and the software product.

You have good to very good German language skills (at least B2).

Meet your team

We are a highly motivated and collaborative team of young talents and experienced experts. We are characterized by a trusting cooperation and a great willingness to help each other.

With our product “SAP Landscape Management“ (LaMa), we simplify and automate the provisioning and operation of a massive number of global SAP systems for our customers. In doing so, we significantly contribute to the IT process automation of SAP Enterprise Cloud Services and S/4HANA CloudOps.

Bring out your best

SAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively. Originally known for leadership in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, SAP has evolved to become a market leader in end-to-end business application software and related services for database, analytics, intelligent technologies, and experience management. As a cloud company with two hundred million users and more than one hundred thousand employees worldwide, we are purpose-driven and future-focused, with a highly collaborative team ethic and commitment to personal development. Whether connecting global industries, people, or platforms, we help ensure every challenge gets the solution it deserves. At SAP, you can bring out your best.
