What you`ll do
We are looking for a Cloud Foundry Control Plane (Associate) Engineer (f/m/d) for SAP Business Technology Platform who would like to collaborate and bring new ideas to the table. Cloud-native development, DevOps, automation of the CI/CD processes around Cloud Foundry, agile development methods like test-driven development and pair programming are important parts of your daily work. You will identify areas for improvement using data from productive services and applications, as well as help automating our operations and configuration. Integrated in a highly motivated team you will learn and use very quickly new concepts, processes, and modern open-source technologies. The daily tasks imply also close collaboration with teams all over the world within the company or Cloud Foundry. We are looking for a strong, committed, self-motivated, reliable, and analytically skilled team player.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
• Good knowledge in, at least, one programming language such as Golang, Python or even Ruby
• Practice of modern software engineering, including coding standards, reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and releasing
• Database (sql) and Linux (bash, vi, ssh) know-how
• Experience with Cloud Platforms (e.g. SAP CP, AWS, Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud) and container technologies (Docker, K8s)
