Job Description
The Learning & Organisational Development Team is responsible for building, sourcing and delivering learning opportunities to our people in order to help them succeed. The team is made up of learning and OD professionals who collaborate together to build the skills, capabilities and confidence of the workforce to enable a thriving culture.
This role can by Hybrid however, travel around the UK will be essential as required.
About the role:
With over 800 managers in the organisation there are pockets of great practice and pockets where managers struggle. The team has a strong history of providing tailored bespoke support to managers who are still finding their way. Due in part to the changes brought by the pandemic, there has been an increased need to support managers in our future ways of working. In order to manage this demand, we are now recruiting for an experienced Organisational Development Advisor with experience of working with managers in building their skills to create strong team cultures.
A significant portion of the work will be delivered within the Face-to-Face Membership Fundraising team where you will be leading on programmes of work to bring about change.
The key aims of this role are; (Non-exhaustive)
• To promote good team cultures through partnering with managers to design bespoke interventions which develop the effectiveness of the team which may include training interventions delivered by yourself or other members of the team, coaching support, team development sessions delivered in partnership with the manager or sourcing external suppliers
• Work across a number of teams at any one time to support good practice and embed the organisation’s behavioural framework
• Provide carefully planned support to the existing and new managers in this team, with support from L&D Advisors in the wider L&OD team.
• Work with the management development team to share themes emerging from your work to aid in developing skills courses for managers
• Work closely with the L&D Manager for management development to communicate progress on team interventions and emerging themes, collaborate on building a healthy learning culture within the Membership Fundraising team
• Contribute to the team’s Coaching Service.
What we need from you
Essential:
• Experience in leading and delivering on pieces of work that bring about change
• Experienced in building healthy team cultures to ensure a high performing team
• Working with and through others to identify needs, solutions and evaluate impact
• Experienced coach
• Experience of a consultancy approach to working with stakeholders or experience in being a consultant
• A qualification in learning and development or organisational development or equivalent experience is essential
• Knowledge and Experience using mediation and or facilitated conversations
Desirable:
• Experienced MBTI Practitioner
• Experience of working with Membership Fundraising teams

This is a Permanent Full-Time role for 37.5 hours per week.
