Role Overview:

The Resource Management and Operations Lead at Qodea is a new pivotal role within the Delivery Operations team. This role will lead our team of Resource Managers and Operations Coordinators to ensure smooth and efficient company operations, whilst contributing to our continued growth through new delivery centres and acquisitions.

This role requires a blend of strategic and operational expertise with strong stakeholder management skills and experience in scaling Professional Services teams. By optimising resource allocation, identifying operational improvements, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, the Resource Management and Operations Lead is critical in driving Qodea's future success.

Requirements

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the team of Resource Managers and Delivery Operations Coordinators to ensure smooth and efficient company operations.
  • Optimise resource allocation and contribute to the development and implementation of Qodea’s overall operational and resourcing strategy.
  • Identify and implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the team.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leadership and Department Leads to identify resourcing needs and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Oversee the collaboration with our People and Talent teams to ensure our talent pipeline is effectively meeting the demand for our customers and upcoming projects.
  • Negotiate and resolve resourcing conflicts and identify alternatives to address identified issues.
  • Contribute to Qodea’s expansion into new regions (new delivery centres), use of third party resource providers and integration of acquisitions.

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in scaled up resource management and operations, preferably within a mid to large professional services or technology consulting firm.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to inform decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Project Management best practices.
  • Proficiency in using professional services automation and data analysis tools.
  • Commercial awareness and understanding of project revenue, margins and financial forecasting
  • Experience with project/business operations management and process improvement methodologies.
  • Team leadership of small resource management and/or operations teams.
  • Experience in scaling and integrating project/business operations resources.

This is a pivotal role within the Delivery Operations team, and is crucial to the business in terms of ensuring we’re able to deliver on our commitments to our customers, are continually improving and professionalising our processes, and are able to scale in line with our ambitions.

The business has ambitious growth plans, the scope of this role will therefore come to focus on ensuring we are prepared and able to continue meeting our delivery objectives while scaling our operations.
