Job Description
We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training, through the power of professional apprenticeships.
We’re one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe and rapidly expanding in North America, working with over 500 clients including Facebook, KPMG, Morgan Stanley and the NHS. In June 2022, we broke the EdTech funding record (again!) by announcing our $220m Series D, making Multiverse the UK’s first ever EdTech unicorn.
Join us on our journey to democratising access to the best careers and learning opportunities.
The Opportunity
Multiverse’s Delivery Operations team is responsible for driving operational excellence in the delivery of our programmes. This role works with the degree level programmes specifically; Multiverse is the first apprenticeships provider to be granted the power to award our own degrees for our degree level apprenticeships, and now we are growing the team which supports the effective running and delivery of this highly regulated and complex (and exciting!) area of our work.
You’ll support the brilliant programme teams who deliver the Advanced Data Fellowship and Technical Consulting degree programmes to our apprentices. You’ll be responsible for managing programme-critical tasks efficiently and effectively, ensuring we meet our requirements as a degree-awarding body and providing an outstanding experience for our staff and apprentices.
Specifically, you will
Effectively support internal teams to achieve key processes underpinning the delivery of degree programmes, ensuring deadlines are met, problem solving issues when plans are off track and escalating risks where required
Manage the quality email inbox, along with the Quality Analyst, resolving queries from teams and referring questions to other internal stakeholders
Provide process support to the delivery team, manage projects to improve policies and processes, and support the effective running of the Board of Examiners
Develop a project plan and playbook to manage the work of our external examiner(s), confirming and uploading grades, monitoring progress of actions, and resolving issues
Act as the secretary for Academic Misconduct meetings, minuting outcomes and actions, and ensuring owners follow policies and complete actions
Lead on apprentice voice initiatives that ensure the views of learners are built into our programmes, acting as the main point of contact for apprentice reps and working with the Community team to ensure that reps have an engaging and impactful experience
Develop and implement a system for managing key programme documents, ensuring clear and accessible records of programme specifications, changes and resources
What you bring
Passionate about processes: building efficiencies and getting things done
Strong attention to detail: in following complex regulatory and policy requirements, as well as the ability to catch discrepancies or inconsistencies
Logical approach to problem solving: ability to identify where changes to timescales or decisions will have knock on effects
Managing stakeholders: ability to communicate decisions effectively with stakeholders and knowing when to pass up to senior team members
Highly organised: with excellent ability to prioritise
Communication skills: strong ability to professionally and effectively influence and challenge both internal and external stakeholders
Enthusiasm for the challenge: we are pioneers in the EdTech / degree apprenticeships space, learning as we build - both as a company and as a team!
Benefits

What employees are saying
Especially since our work spans many time zones (US West Coast to UK) there's a lot of flexibility since there are different folks that work together at different times. I can plan early days for when I need to connect with folks that are ahead of me (time zone-wise) or later on days that I'm working with US folks and doing heads-down work. I appreciate that my leaders know that I will get my work done and if I need to go to appointments or take time mid-day, that is supported.
