Advanced Data Fellowship Instructor for Level 5 and 6, UK
3–4 days/week at home
A little flex time
Job Description
We are Multiverse, a tech scaleup with a social mission. We’re creating a diverse group of future leaders by building an outstanding alternative to university and corporate training, through the power of professional apprenticeships.
We’re one of the fastest-growing businesses in Europe and rapidly expanding in North America, working with over 500 clients including Facebook, KPMG, Morgan Stanley and the NHS. In June 2022, we broke the EdTech funding record (again!) by announcing our $220m Series D, making Multiverse the UK’s first ever EdTech unicorn.
Join us on our journey to democratising access to the best careers and learning opportunities.

You will help define how the world approaches education and careers.
As an instructor in the Advanced Data Fellowship team, you will inspire and support apprentices on their degree apprenticeship, learning advanced data analysis and technology skills. You will hold a pivotal role in helping us achieve our social mission by building a business which can match non-graduate talent with apprenticeship opportunities at some of the UK's most exciting companies.
Specifically, as an instructor, you will:
deliver workshops and seminars to several cohorts of up to 20 apprentices per cohort covering Advanced Data Fellowship modules including:
- Cybersecurity

Train through the Academic Development Pathway
We are big on continuous development and believe in setting you up for success here at Multiverse. As such we have an opportunity for you to enrol onto our Academic Development Pathway. This hybrid course comprises workshops, observations and exercises to develop your understanding of the fundamentals of higher education teaching. The focal point of the ADP is centred on developing HE skills and subject knowledge in the Advanced Data Fellowship curriculum. Along with all of this, we’ll help you develop an application for Fellowship of AdvanceHE, the industry standard qualification for teaching in Higher Education.
Throughout the first 6 months of your role, you will engage in the ADP through online workshops and asynchronous materials, observing and working with existing members of the ADF team and the Advanced Programmes team. The first 3 months will prepare you for your role, ensuring you are familiar with the policies, process and content to take on your first delivery. The next 3 months will provide you with ‘on the job’ support as you take on your first group of apprentices.
Your training will include:
Shadowing our existing degree apprenticeship coaches to see how they facilitate group delivery sessions and coach one-to-one and in small groups.
Learning core skills that will make you successful in the role e.g. using data to support apprentice progress, managing your time and building relationships.

What employees are saying
Especially since our work spans many time zones (US West Coast to UK) there's a lot of flexibility since there are different folks that work together at different times. I can plan early days for when I need to connect with folks that are ahead of me (time zone-wise) or later on days that I'm working with US folks and doing heads-down work. I appreciate that my leaders know that I will get my work done and if I need to go to appointments or take time mid-day, that is supported.
