We are seeking a Local Environmental & Social (E&S) Specialist to support onshore wind farm-related projects under contingent terms. This temporary position is responsible for ensuring compliance with Thai environmental and social regulations, lender requirements, and project-specific standards. The role involves conducting desktop reviews and providing high-level compliance recommendations to support project execution.

Role Specific Duties:

  • Perform desktop reviews of project-specific E&S documents against Thai regulations and Lender’s requirements.
  • Prepare review findings in English, following Mott MacDonald (MM) report format, and address queries from MM checkers and reviewers.
  • Provide high-level recommendations for compliance with local E&S regulations where necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure E&S compliance is integrated into project planning and implementation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Engineering Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai E&S requirements and familiarity with international lender standards.
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent technical writing skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams and manage compliance-related tasks independently.
