Job Description

Job Description

Mondelēz International — the company behind Oreo, Milka, and Toblerone — is rolling out o9 Solutions, an AI/ML-powered planning platform, across Europe. It’s one of the biggest digital transformations in our history, and we need demand planning practitioners who can get into the detail, challenge what doesn’t work, and help us build something that actually holds up in the real world.

We are committed to being both a Talent Maker and a Talent Magnet — intentionally developing, attracting, and retaining great people through robust succession planning. We believe in YOU and we back that up with daily opportunities to learn, grow, and shape a career on your own terms. Flexibility is more than a policy here — it is part of how we work, helping every employee maintain a healthy balance between their professional and personal lives. Everything we do is anchored in purpose. Through Snacking Made Right, we are building a brand portfolio loved by billions — work you can feel good about.

What we offer

Competitive Salary, Excellent Benefits, including YOUR well-being, YOUR work-life balance, YOUR recognition and so much more!

Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?

Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Possible

This is a fixed-term project role with the end date 31st of March 2028. High performers will be considered to join our established Warsaw planning community.

You know the moment in a planning cycle when the numbers don’t feel right — and everyone else is ready to move on? We need people who stay in that moment, dig in, and figure out why. That’s this role.

We’re looking for senior demand planning professionals to join our established Warsaw planning community — one of the largest planning hubs in the region — and lead this from the inside. Not from a project management slide — from the planning trenches.

This isn’t a support role. You own outcomes across six workstreams within your Business Unit scope — and your judgement matters.

How you will contribute

Shape the Solution — Built on Platform Expertise

For planners who know where the blueprint breaks — from having lived through implementations before

  • You’re the primary Demand Planning expert for your scope. If something isn’t fit for purpose, you call it.
  • Lead implementation of the global o9 blueprint across multiple markets. Own resolution of functional design issues.
  • Drive cross-market harmonisation — resolve process differences and create structured recommendations for the blueprint.
  • Represent Demand Planning in cross-functional design forums and senior leadership reviews — not as a note-taker, but as the voice of planning reality.

Test It — And Own the Verdict

For those who have run testing phases and know what a real go/no-go call feels like

  • Lead (not just execute) functional, integration, and UAT across the full DP workstream.
  • Design test coverage for the corner cases nobody else thinks of — market-specific, edge cases, integration failures.
  • Act as senior triage authority: determine defect criticality, prioritise resolution, make go/no-go recommendations.
  • Validate ML/AI model outputs against what you know the business actually needs — and push back when the models fall short.

Get the Data Right — At Scale

For planners who have owned data readiness end-to-end, not just flagged issues

  • Own data readiness end-to-end across your markets. Hold teams accountable to standards and timelines.
  • Lead validation of data integration flows between o9, SAP IBP, and SAC across multi-market scope.
  • When systemic data quality issues emerge, escalate with clear recommendations — not just flags.

Build Capability — Set the Standard

For planners who teach naturally — because they’ve learned by doing and want others to as well

  • Design and deliver training that actually builds skill, not just ticks a box.
  • Coach planners and business partners across markets.
  • Mentor junior Key Users through pilot and go-live phases. Set the standard for how the Key User community operates.
  • Identify systemic capability gaps and drive continuous learning within your BU scope.

Drive Go-Live & Hypercare — With Accountability

For people who have been through a go-live and know what the first week really looks like

  • Your go/no-go recommendation carries real weight — own it from the business side.
  • During hypercare, you’re the senior escalation point — triaging critical issues and making calls under pressure.
  • Manage the transition to BAU and make sure teams can stand on their own.

Lead the Change — Visibly

For planners who have driven adoption before, not just participated in it

  • Lead adoption strategy across your BU scope. Present to senior stakeholders with real metrics and honest recommendations.
  • Drive cross-market process harmonisation. Facilitate resolution of local exceptions against the global standard.
  • Be the most visible and credible ambassador for data-driven planning in your area — and let people see you believe in it.

What you will bring

Must Have

  • 5–8+ years in Demand Planning, Forecasting, or IBP in FMCG/CPG — at senior individual contributor or lead level, not just years on the clock.
  • You’ve been through system implementations or technology transformations. You know the difference between a go-live and a successful adoption.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with SAP APO, SAP IBP, o9 Solutions, or a comparable platform.
  • You understand forecasting methodologies — statistical, causal, ML/AI-driven — at multi-market scale.
  • Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to BU leadership and cross-functional forums — you translate complex issues into clear, honest narratives.
  • You develop others naturally — mentoring isn’t an extra task for you, it’s how you work.
  • Willingness to relocate to Warsaw, Poland.

Strong Plus

  • Hands-on o9 Solutions or comparable next-gen platform experience (Kinaxis, Blue Yonder).
  • ML/AI model interpretation — structured feedback on feature engineering and model performance.
  • Cross-market harmonisation and blueprint governance experience.
  • Knowledge of FVA, no-touch forecasting, demand sensing, and RIRO governance.
  • Experience leading data readiness at scale — cleansing, hierarchy validation, integration verification.
  • Experience in a centralised or hub-based planning operating model.

Nice to Have

  • Working knowledge of Python, R, or SQL for analytical validation.
  • APICS CSCP, IBF CPF, or equivalent professional certification.

What we offer

Competitive Salary, Excellent Benefits, including your well-being, your work-life balance, your recognition and so much more!

This is a fixed-term project role with the end date 31st of March 2028. High performers will be considered to join our established Warsaw planning community.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

You are a recognized high performer with a proven track record — not just potential. You have been through technology transformations before, and you bring the experience, credibility, and judgement to lead others through this one.

Job specific requirements:

  • 100% dedicated to the S4/o9 Programme.
  • Warsaw, Poland — this is a central, Warsaw-based project role.

Travel requirements:

~10% for co-located testing phases and market engagement

Periodic visits to markets for IT/UAT, go-live readiness assessments, and stakeholder engagement across assigned BU scope.

The responsibilities of this position are performed within the framework of a regional business model that is defined and managed by Mondelēz Europe GmbH, Switzerland .
