Job Description

Overview

The CAPE (Copilot, Agents and Platform Ecosystem) organization drives adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio worldwide. Within CAPE, the Copilot Acceleration Team (CAT) helps customers and partners use Microsoft’s agent platforms, especially Microsoft Copilot Studio, to build and deploy custom AI agents at scale, leveraging no-code, low-code, and pro-code capabilities.

We are seeking a Senior Program Manager to accelerate the success of our System Integrator (SI) partners and the customers they serve. This role focuses on enabling SIs to deepen their technical expertise, deliver high-quality agentic projects, and scale success across their customer portfolios. While the primary focus is on SI collaboration, the role may also involve direct customer engagement in escalations or select strategic projects.

This is a high-leverage position that combines technical enablement, scalable programs, and actionable product feedback. The objective is to empower SIs to confidently design, deploy, and govern agents, while channeling insights back to engineering to improve the partner experience and accelerate adoption at scale.

Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a Microsoft Copilot Studio solution architect and subject-matter expert, ensuring System Integrators deliver high-quality, high-impact Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions and agents for their customers.
  • Bring deep architecture understanding of the agent ecosystem — including Microsoft 365 Agents SDK, Microsoft 365 Agents Toolkit, Microsoft 365 Copilot APIs, Microsoft Foundry, and Agent 365 — and comfortably engage in hands-on design and partner recommendations on which stacks and extension paths to use.
  • Support partner-led deployments by proactively identifying and removing technical blockers, validating solution designs, and guiding partners toward best practices in architecture, governance, and adoption.
  • Collaborate with field, engineering, and partner teams to prioritize and track strategic SI engagements, ensuring alignment on shared success metrics such as usage growth, agent quality, and business impact.
  • Bridge partners and engineering, managing escalations and channeling actionable feedback on platform gaps, feature priorities, and deployment challenges.
  • Contribute to high-impact technical assets (samples, guidance, workshops, and reference content) that multiply knowledge and accelerate partner-led success globally.
  • Measure and report outcomes across SI-led projects to demonstrate adoption growth, agent performance, and the overall multiplier effect of partner success.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND advanced experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working with or within System Integrators (SIs) or large delivery partners, such as in consulting, architecture, or development roles.
  • Deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Dataverse, Power Automate, ALM, security, governance, and administration.
  • Hands-on expertise of Microsoft Copilot Studio.
  • Hands-on experience with code-first agent architectures and extensibility (Microsoft 365 Agents SDK, Microsoft 365 Agents Toolkit, Microsoft 365 Copilot APIs, Microsoft Foundry, Semantic Kernel), with the ability to guide partners on when and how to use these capabilities.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to assess architectures, troubleshoot deployment issues, and guide partners to the right design choices.
  • Creative problem-solver who thrives in ambiguity, learns quickly, and adapts to emerging technologies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills across engineering, field, and partner organizations.
  • Proven ability to drive impact through influence, collaboration, and scalable technical programs.
  • Fluent in English.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in solution architecture, software development, or technical program management roles involving customer or partner delivery.
  • Prior experience in technical consulting or delivery roles on the partner side (e.g., GSI, ISV, or boutique consultancy).
  • Familiarity with AI agent architectures, including integration with Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI, or other cognitive services.
  • Background in enterprise AI, conversational AI, or low-code solution delivery.
