Sr. Scientist Global Q&FS DQM Standard
The Sr. Scientist Global Q&FS DQM Standard role is responsible to lead the development, deployment and continuous improvement of our DQM management requirements within the Mars Snacking segment.
This role owns the evolution and maintenance of Q&FS DQM supporting documents linked to the Corporate DQM standard, and the required practices and tools to meet internal quality expectations and be safe and legal. It has full ownership for segment DQM documents/structure of document hierarchy and for the full lifecycle, including develop, maintain, deploy, train, and govern within the Mars Snacking segment.
The role governs and verifies implementation of the DQM requirements, partnering with stakeholders across the division and segment to ensure ongoing progress. This expert role provides a critical link to the Quality Management System (QMS), specifically the market relevant standards ensuring we mitigate risks that are identified through market logistics and quality in distribution audits. The role influences segment stakeholders to ensure adherence to the DQM standard.
What are we looking for?
Minimum of bachelor’s degree, or equivalent in a science field, preferably in food safety science.
Minimum of 5 years' experience working in an operational Q&FS environment.
Deep technical expertise in Q&FS standards and governance.
Strong knowledge of the DQM framework.
Experience working with R&D, Supply, Commercial and Activity Management
Strong knowledge and proven implementation of standards and quality management across organizational layers (i.e. business units, manufacturing sites, market units, etc.) as well as their interaction and governance expectations
Good knowledge of metrics, statistics and reporting methods to interrogate audit output data and identify insights for improvement.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence senior leaders and their teams across all segments, all regions and across multiple functions.
Strong planning and project management skills.
Global travel
Flexibility to work across different time zones to support Global Communities

What would your key responsibilities be?
Lead the development of segment DQM documents, technical specifications, procedures and risk assessment tools.
Lead the creation of the deployment tool kit and training tools to effectively evolve and maintain the segment DQM documents.
Lead the development of compliance reporting tools, alignment of compliance metric targets for the DQM standard.
Govern performance and drive standardization and continuous improvement of the DQM standard compliance within the segment.
Lead the cross-region DQM Communities of Practice providing a forum for the development and communication of best practices.
Define training competency and maintain calibration requirements for the segment DQM documents.
Manage stakeholder communications related to the segment DQM documents, including escalation of key findings.
Support Technical and Internal audits for Mars Wrigley Division to verify adequacy and compliance of current business processes.
