The Retail Marketing Executive will be the day to day lead on specific Royal Canin portfolio priorities and will partner with the Retail Marketing Manager, Category Manager & Sales team to identify the brand opportunities and work with internal stakeholders and external agencies to develop a marketing communications plan with SMART objectives and KPI's.

You will get close to our customers by working in collaboration with our sales team and by carrying out regular store visits to ensure we are maximizing all relevant marketing touchpoints with our customers and delivering excellent execution across all channels.

Utilize industry market and sales data to understand the Pet Owners, turn data into insight, and insight into action ensuring all marketing is relevant and engaging for our target audiences.

What are we looking for?

  • 3+ years retail marketing experience

  • Fluent in English

  • Experience of project management

  • Experience In managing 3rd party agencies.

  • High level of pro-activeness and willingness to take responsibility

  • Advanced skills In MS Office (specifically Excel & PowerPoint)

  • Analytical mindset

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Own Marketing initiatives on RC Cat portfolio, from development of strategies & plans through to implementation

  • Evolve Royal Canin Cat range through portfolio optimization, NPD forecasting & activation

  • Work closely with Category & Insights and finance teams to produce & communicate regular performance dashboard on Cat portfolio to monitor and course correct against KPIs in as part of S&OP process (PMR)

  • Ownership of selling prices vs EU floor price, product master data updates and completion of customer new line forms

  • Create sales folders and trade engagement packages tailored to channels and customers based on a clear category opportunity selling story and retail value proposition.

  • Apply a 'triple lens view' to all activity to ensure It Is mutually beneficial for Royal Canin, Retailer and Pet Owner

  • Proactive field visits with sales team / in retail stores

  • Responsible for the physical creation and delivery of all B2B campaign activity, Including POS materials, Sampling, Events, Vouchers, Education, Promotions

  • Work closely with the digital & e-commerce team to ensure optimum digital plan is developed, implemented and tracked aligned with the overall promotional / campaign strategy.

  • Manage A&P budgets to ensure accurate forecasting and phasing.

  • Present campaign activation plans to internal associates, leadership team and attend customer meetings to sell in the opportunities.

  • Support and attend Trade events which may involve weekend working

  • Define objectives and KPI's for all activity and produce regular performance dashboard showing campaign performance and if necessary, propose action required.

  • Manage 3rd party agencies to help support and deliver the overall marketing campaigns.
