R&D Regional FE Network Lead
Overview
As part of the newly formed MGS (Mars Global Services) R&D team, we are seeking to appoint a new Middle East, Europe and Africa R&D Regional FA (Functional Analyst) Lead. This role will work effectively with various stakeholders and functions in Corporate, Segments and in Mars Digital Technologies to improve our digital R&D products, to support compliance with our R&D process and ensure user efficiency in using our R&D system. This role will also manage a team of 10 Functional Analysts. Each Functional Analyst will be responsible to support a subset of the R&D digital Capabilities.
This role can be based in the United Kingdom in Slough (ISB) or Waltham (WAL), Hungary in Bokoros (BOK), Poland in Sochaczew (SOC), Egypt in October City (OCT). Working in a hybrid model, we expect 1 day a week home site attendance and candidates need to be based within commuting distance from one of these Mars sites.
This is a great opportunity to commence in a newly structured R&D team and get an in-depth understanding of both quality processes and the systems that support them.
What are we looking for?
Demonstrated line management skills across a multicultural team at different sites.
Experience in developing Talent and engagement levels in a team
Strong project and/or program management skills supported by strong attention to details both RD and or IT functions with a track record for delivering projects and ability to influence others across segments and regions
Good interpersonal and communication skills with experience in working on global environment ideally with different business segments and different cultures.
Experience in R&D / Quality systems
Experience in Manufacturing and or supply chain
Fluent in English
What your key responsibilities be?
Leadership – build a highly engaged and professional R&D team within the region.
Business Process – support the creation and use of a new operating model across the team.
Communication - responsible for linking with and engaging regional segment leaders to determine how best to support their needs.
Issue resolution - accountable for “excellence in execution of signature processes” and services (including issue resolution, data analysis, reporting and testing)
Problem solving - Providing prioritisation and escalation support to the team.
