Junior Food & Multisales (FMS) Digital Technologies Project Manager

Contract: Permanent/ CDI

Locations: Haguenau, France (30 min from Strasbourg), Paddington or Slough, UK. This job can also opened in other European hub sites.

This role operates across the Food & Multisales segment, collaborating across Mars Digital Technologies and business unit stakeholders in functions such as R&D, Supply, RGM, to implement Digital change. The role should apply digital methods and leverage new technologies to disrupt the status quo, provoke new ideas, and solve key business problems. Working alongside global and regional stakeholders, you will be helping to deliver the Digital agenda in FMS, leading key projects within the portfolio, delivering on our objectives in transformational delivery, and championing our 'Zero Distance to the Customer' agenda. You will need to leverage your structure, organization, and stakeholder management skills to bring consistency to the area and drive best practice through Agile methodology and Design Thinking, whilst embracing new tools in Analytics, Automation, and Integration.

What are we looking for?

  • 2-3 years of work experience in a Digital oriented role

  • Experience in business analysis, system/process design, application integration, testing

  • Previous work experience consulting in an organization in a similar role

  • Knowledge of project delivery and digital capabilities is preferred - Analytics, APIs, Azure, RPA etc

  • Strong communication skills in English (oral and written)

  • Ability to learn on the fly

  • Be comfortable working in a multi-time zone environment

  • Have the ability to engage with stakeholders to present summaries, bring insights, and drive follow through on actions

  • Knowledge of digital technologies - such as MuleSoft, Azure Data Lake, Machine Learning, AI, Tableau, PowerBI is a bonus

What would be your responsibilities?

  • Manage the project delivery of smaller digital projects and/or managing the workstream delivery as part of a larger project

  • Develop functional and technical understanding of the digital capabilities being implemented and delivering the change into the business

  • Coordinate and manage 3rd party resources through project delivery, ensuring roles and responsibilities are clear and the team is engaged to deliver successfully

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the relevant business area

  • Leverage the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool for planning resources, project milestones, risks and financials

  • Engage Digital Technologies Senior Managers & Managers, and business unit Directors and Senior Managers to ensure successful project deployment and benefits delivery

  • Understands the importance of business change management and incorporates in to delivery plans

  • Executes the project by adopting and applying Agile principles & behaviours – running the typical Agile/Scrum ceremonies

  • Shows an appetite for being curious, demonstrating a willingness to learn and desire to drive change via new technology enablement
