Our new Head of E-commerce EMEA will create a strategy for growth with key online customers across EMEA and drive a consistent brand image online across the region. This is a highly responsible role and we are looking for someone who is as comfortable planning and strategizing as they are delivering the numbers.
What are we looking for?
- Strong experience of sales within the online channel with prior experience of selling to omni/onliners and other marketplaces is a huge advantage
- Evidence of new business development experience, confident pitching to new customers and creating good relationships
- Advanced account management skills, capable of quickly establishing trust and confidence within customers and building for the long-term
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
- Excellent organizational abilities, including planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making abilities, including strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
- Self-directed, with ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility in hours/locations and weekend work when required
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Work closely with Business Development Director to develop a plan for online and marketplace retailers across EMEA, focusing on the right customer per priority market to create maximum long-term impact.
- Work with speed to improve our brand image with online and marketplace customers
- Pay close attention to internal and external relationships with existing customer base, both direct and with distributors to ensure a sensitive approach to business building
- Work with internal teams across sales, marketing, supply, logistics and finance to create a strong support for the channel
- Highlight the online channel internally, upskilling the teams to identify the role of online and importance of the channel for sutainable business growth
