The Global Pet Nutrition Team Coordinator leads the Support Services function with oversight and management of the global administrative team. This role is responsible for setting up the administrative team for success and in line with the Mars culture and Five Principles, enabling senior leaders to focus on the critical business issues. In a supervisory capacity, the incumbent will need to partner closely with the Global Leadership Team (PNLT) to be effective in the role.

Additionally, this role has dual responsibility and will help lead Pet Nutrition’s efforts in office and facilities services in Paddington. This will include ensuring a Pet centric culture, clean and organized office to maximize team and associate efficiency. This role will also be the main point of contact for new joiners to the Paddington office.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years administrative experience; preference given to those with experience supporting senior-level Executives who work globally.

  • Previous line management experience is essential.

What will be your key responsibilities?

Administrative Coordinator:

  • Leads the Support Services function including oversight and management of the global administrative team supporting the Global Pet Nutrition Leadership Team (PNLT). This requires close collaboration with business leaders and other key stakeholders to understand and align expectations.

  • Coaches/mentors direct and indirect reports, sets aligned and comprehensive PDPs across the Support Services function.

  • Ensures appropriate level of staffing, engagement as well as capability to deliver a high calibre degree of support across all areas. This includes building a highly engaged team as well as focusing on development planning.

  • Designs optimum Support Services function which is organized around needs of leadership as well as the needs of the office.

Facilities Management:

  • Designs the optimum way to approach management of PAD site considering all daily operational responsibility to ensure continuity in operations. This may include phone system, office supplies & inventory, vending, shipping & receiving, catering, site security protocols, cleaning services, site landscaping, facilities maintenance, etc.

  • Plays a role in managing the relationship with external vendors that provide services to the PAD office.

  • Safety/Emergency Evacuation – Partners with other members of Support Services team to ensure a safe working environment is maintained in the office at all times and interfaces with building staff on a regular basis to manage events that impact the office and/or site.

  • Leads the office and site orientation process with new Pet Nutrition associates including site safety, security, and office.

  • Supports onboarding of new Senior Leaders to the Paddington office

  • Culture leader for Paddington office ensuring a Pet centric culture and principle based decisions with organization, branding and communication
