Our Global Pet Nutrition e-Commerce business is a $4B business in double digital growth and penetration. Digital Commerce, BOPIS and On Demand Delivery are set to represent 35% of all CPG Sales in the not-too-distant future. Mars Pet Nutrition will be no different within this high-growth, tailwind channel.

The Global DComm team serve all markets with an ambition to build best-in-class fundamentals, processes that are rooted in digestible and measurable data truths. Meeting pet parent’s needs in frictionless journeys, UX and service that delights to increase profitable baskets size, encouraging loyalty and a LTV relationship with Mars Pet Nutrition.

Data and insights will underpin all our decisions going forward. Clear advanced analytics connected for one source of truth development for scale will become our heartland. Ensuring we make informed choices, support efficiencies in market and play the role of liberating D Comm data to our end-to-end partners will help our business flywheel.

The Mars PN Global DComm Data and Analytics Manager will be a critical position to design and deliver the performance ecosystem solution for D-Commerce to enable and drive a true performance culture, and in parallel act as the key leader to design and shape the D-Comm Advanced Analytics Strategy globally with design and technology partners and agencies.

The Manager will report work closely with key Associates across Mars DComm, regional centers of acceleration, and local markets.

The salary range for this role is £60,000-80,000 depending on experience and location.

What are we looking for?

- Significant analytics or sales operations experience gained in an FMCG or CPG setting.

- Proven track record in influencing indirect cross-functional teams.

- Experience with digital data sets - sales, media, search, virtual shelf, share, website traffic, consumer and/or content.

- Experience of attribution modelling, RFM, churn and retention, audience analytics or similar would be beneficial in this role.

- SQL/Python skills preferred.

What will your key responsibilities be?

- Review and crystallize the current ‘as is’ approach to performance measurement.

- Develop the short, mid and long-term strategy, plan and solution to determine key performance indicators, create the business case and drive true change in performance, investment and spend levels where necessary.

- Design and build the ‘Data to insight’ approach with all key stakeholders in the enabling action and maximum impact.

- Act as the ‘voice of the customer’ to develop and own the Global D-Com Analytics strategy as ‘Global Product Owner’.

- Design and execute the strategy and investment approach and ensure the ODDA team build and execute optimal solutions.

- Support DCom team with today’s tools, sharing insights and data in conversations with suppliers and markets with a continual mindset view.

- Partner with the DT teams to support as the voice of markers encouraging business solving question need states. Understanding the tools of today across PIM, DAM, commercial efficiency and how to improve and scale.

- Drive improvements and evolution in all key business signature processes (S&OP+, iVCP,, SRM etc) to better represent the current performance and future opportunity in D-Comm.

- Develop and mobilize the key metrics of success and evaluation mechanism to ensure ongoing maximum ROI and business impact from key projects and programs.

- Build a roadmap for Integrated Brand Experiences, which connects and drives a strategy for paid, owned, and earned media. Build and connect relevant consumer and data interactions to improve media efficiencies – linked to dynamic creative updates, supported by test and learn flighting and analytics. Data and Analytics will empower this change – a firm grasp and vision is needed to support stakeholders on this journey to success.

- Partner with DT to explore tools that support the need for social selling 1st party connections for our advanced social selling markets such as China.

- Partner with markets, DComm peers and DT teams to roadmap relevant innovative go to market offerings, breaking barriers to purchase and white spaces to transform the user experience.
