The Global Process Lead – Cash Application & Credit Management is responsible for defining and driving the global strategy, governance, and optimization of cash application and credit management processes. This role ensures standardized, accurate, and efficient operations that improve cash visibility, reduce credit risk, and enhance working capital performance. It exists to deliver end-to-end process excellence, strengthen financial controls, and lead global transformation initiatives across Finance, MGSF, and Segment stakeholders.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Define and own global strategy for Cash Application and Credit Management processes, ensuring alignment with working capital and risk management objectives.
Design and maintain end-to-end processes covering cash application, unapplied cash resolution, credit assessment, credit limit management.
Drive global standardization of processes, policies, and controls across regions, while managing necessary local regulatory requirements.
Establish and monitor KPIs (e.g., auto-cash rate, unapplied cash, unidentified cash and bad debt) to track performance and drive accountability.
Lead transformation initiatives, including automation, digitalization, and continuous improvement to increase efficiency, accuracy, and speed of cash application and credit decisions.
Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and external regulations related to credit risk and cash processes.
Collaborate with stakeholders across MGSF, Finance, Sales, and Segment teams to align on credit policies, dispute resolution, and cash flow optimization.
Oversee and optimize system enablement, including ERP (e.g., SAP), cash application tools, and credit management systems to support scalable operations.
Identify and mitigate risks related to credit exposure, bad debt, and cash misapplication, ensuring proactive management and escalation.
Support shared services / BPO operations, driving service delivery excellence and continuous capability building across global teams.
What are we looking for?
10+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting, with a strong focus on Cash Application, Credit Management, or O2C operations
Proven experience in global roles, preferably as a Global Process Owner / Lead
Deep expertise in credit risk assessment, credit limit management, cash application, and unapplied cash resolution
Experience in shared services environments with global and regional delivery teams
Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and cash application / credit management tools
Strong understanding of working capital drivers, including DSO, overdue balances, and bad debt management
Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale process transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
Experience with automation and digital tools to enhance process efficiency
Fluency in English
