Driving global innovation in Mars Petcare Care & Treats through the development and implementation of existing, new and emerging technologies, leveraging both internal and external capabilities. Providing technical leadership for extended cross-functional, global and regional teams.

What are we looking for?

  • Deep expertise in process development / process engineering gained within an FMCG business environment

  • Extensive experience in providing leadership for cross-functional teams within a business environment

  • Extensive experience in project, programme & portfolio management

    Strong track record of project and program delivery

  • Proven ability to build strong collaborative relationships with partners across the business, and externally

  • Extensive experience in people leadership, including coaching and supporting the development of individuals and teams

  • Ability to effectively engage and influence senior leaders and peers in R&D, Supply, Marketing and Commercial

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, e.g. communication, relationship building, networking, team-working

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Enabling the delivery of the Care & Treats global innovation pipeline through leadership and delivery of a portfolio of process development and implementation projects, extending over a 3-6 year time horizon, with accountability for the provision of technical leadership for immediate and extended project teams (global, regional and cross-functional)
  • Proactively identify new and emerging technology opportunities, that have the potential to lead to the creation of new global innovation projects
  • Leading the deployment of existing technologies and processes into follower regions globally
  • Leading activities leveraging external capabilities in process development and co-manufacturing, building effective partnerships with external collaborators as required
