FLT Operator - Weekends

Salary - £25,160 - £26,166 (Base pay + shift allowance) plus bonus and benefits

Rotating shifts (29 hours):

Sat/Sun - 6am - 6pm

Sat/Sun - 6pm – 6am

Plus 5 hours in the week (flexible to which day)

PLEASE NOTE Training for this role will take place on Monday - Friday rotating weeks 6am - 2pm 2pm - 10pm

The role of the warehouse Operator is to support and assist the warehouse team in the management and distribution of materials as they come into the plant are offloaded and stored and then supporting their distribution through the factory. It’s a high-octane environment, safety is paramount, as is great team ethics

What are we looking for?

  • Fork truck license including high reach truck experience

  • Minimum GCSE Math’s and English essential

  • Ideally previous warehouse experience and knowledge of SAP. However, all training will be provided for a suitable candidate.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Safety first attitude

  • Proven-track srecord for reliability is paramount

  • Ability to learn new skills and to ensure these skills and knowledge are transferred to other

  • Ability to fully engage team and influence others.

  • Work with minimal supervision and be self-directed for most of the time.

  • Take responsibility for personal and job-related development and be prepared to challenge and escalate issues to senior material handler

  • Demonstrate a willingness to take ownership of tasks and improve production procedures

  • Working knowledge of SAP & materials management in a warehouse environment.

  • High standards and attitude to GMP and quality

  • Actively involved in Mars problem solving processes and activities to shape our future

  • Good working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous, although not essential, as all necessary training will be provided. This is a shift-based role
