A hugely exciting business to work across the European Region within our Project Management Team.

Principally the role is about the project management of regional growth, value leadership, supply continuity & sustainability initiatives for the Petcare business to deliver the regional pipeline on time in full. The main responsibility of the role is engage & lead cross functional project teams to deliver the regional activity funnel.

As a trusted partner at the heart of change within PNE, the European Project Manager role is crucial to supporting the delivery of our Value creation strategy as part of the wider Strategy Deployment Team.

The role is a critical enabler for the deployment of projects from value ideation through to factory/MKT implementation and will cover a scope as diverse as Growth to Value leadership to legal compliance, supply continuity and Sustainability. The project management roles provide a great opportunity to gain broad business perspective, develop strong team leadership skills and act as a key business partner between supply & demand.

As a key business partner for Supply & Demand the project manager will lead the agreed project set through the QuEST process, driving stage gate governance and to provide clear recommendations/escalations to the respective Segment Teams/regional S&OP+ forums.

Requirements:

  • Candidate based in UK or EU region
  • Salary £44-51k

Key Outputs

  • Project management of major regional value creation projects in line with the PNE portfolio pipeline/segment strategy.
  • Lead regional cross functional teams through the QuEST process from New Project Request through to Post Launch Review.
  • Provide transparency on project progress, key risks, scenarios and enabling actions.
  • Provide clear recommendations/escalations to the Segment Teams to drive on time, in full delivery of agreed activity set.
  • Drive pipeline synergy & resource optimisation thinking within the agreed activity pipeline.
  • Active member of regional EPM community driving continuous improvement within the broader strategy deployment team.

Qualifications & competencies

  • Previous business experience in technical or demand functions.
  • Proven track record in project management/process deployment/team leadership.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken). Other languages beneficial
  • High level of pro-activeness and willingness to take responsibility. High communication capability.
  • Ability to dealing with ambiguity & fast-paced change
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Ability to influence without authority
