Our DTC Platform Product Manager is a key individual on NextGen composable platform team driving future demand for DTC technology as well as overall platform vision and roadmap. You’ll work with General Managers and business leaders to influence new business concepts, direct the build out of a cutting-edge acceleration framework, and lead the organization in implementing the solution. You will own the core eCommerce platform and will incorporate all commerce tools, ranging from MarTech to analytics and integrations, to provide a high-quality consumer experience with a frictionless consumer journey to conversion. You will be responsible for driving organizational change to ensure the best teams are put in place to launch successful D2C initiatives.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ Years of experience as product manager in areas such as headless eCommerce technologies, microservices architecture, e-commerce product/project management
  • Understands Micro-services, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless (MACH) Design Practices
  • A deep understanding of the full D2C tech stack (commerce, MarTech, AdTech, analytics, etc.) and the ability to leverage a portfolio of tools to deliver the D2C products best suited for agility and rapid business growth
  • Experience on eCommerce platform build, rollout and continuing maintenance
  • Experience working in matrix organizations
  • Should have a proven track record of delivering results in two or more of the following areas:
    Line Management, Project Delivery, Program Management, Senior Management exposure
  • Experience building agency-level PowerPoint decks is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree is required; an MBA is preferred
  • Great presentation skills, ability to influence others, self starter
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% including internationally
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and cross-functional skills

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Runs D2C product management ensuring that the NextGen composable D2C platform is up to date and is offering modern D2C capabilities for our consumers.
  • Responsible for platform roadmap and vision
  • Leads onboarding of future platform businesses
  • Partners with ecommerce managers to ensure that we are delivering services in-line with current and future business needs.
  • Collaborates with business sponsors and managers to create clear outcomes, project scope, approach, and business case. Determines and recommends concept as a project or enhancements.
  • Leverages industry best practices and a broad set of technology components to build out the D2C products, ensuring the maintenance of an efficient, leading-edge platform delivering measurable growth through digitization programs
  • Leads the benefit evaluation process of the delivered solution (ie. was the stated purpose fulfilled, does the solution meet the business needs)
  • Works cross-functionally to develop, identify and define how to improve business performance through the application of technology, optimization of information flow, usage of resources, and business processes enhancement.
  • Partners with global digital demand teams to leverage data, analytics and technology solutions to develop and formulate D2C product offerings that deliver a high-quality customer experience and measurable sales growth
  • Monitors the progression of projects through the delivery phase
  • Recruits, onboards, develops and engages Associates to maximize performance the Mars Way.
  • Manages Life cycle of different platform components
