Job Purpose/Overview

This role will lead the strategy and design efforts for the Pet Nutrition formulation ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in designing and implementing complex solutions and connectivity of diverse systems and applications. As the DT Senior R&D Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical direction of our formulation ecosystem and its connected capabilities ensuring seamless data flow across the formulation ecosystem.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive technical solutions that align with business objectives and enable the R&D digital transformation program as part of Digital First.

  • Step-change value creation for pets and pet parents by digitalising R&D to accelerate innovation, deliver superior propositions and fuel an integrated supply chain, with increased agility and reduced cost.

  • Collaborate closely with functional and technical teams, including application developers, project managers, other domain architects, and business stakeholders, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

  • Develop architecture strategies that encompass full lifecycle management of solutions in the ecosystem. Including identifying potential bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and performance issues within solution designs and propose effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

  • Evaluate and recommend tools, middleware platforms, and technologies to ensure scalability, security, and ease of maintenance.

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects and solution architects to ensure alignment with overall architectural goals and strategies.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the organisation.

  • Participate in the estimation of project timelines, resources, and budgets related to architecture and design efforts.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of system architecture documentation, reference architectures, and guidelines.

What are we looking for?

  • Education & Professional Qualification - Bachelor’s

  • 5+ In what area: Information Technology (IT)

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing IT solutions in complex enterprise environments.

  • Proficiency in technologies and standards including SQL, C# and JavaScript.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.
