Job Description:

A technically strong Data Engineering Lead, needed to lead an agile team of data engineers in the design and implementation of a cloud-based advanced analytics platform

What are we looking for?

  • A technical leader in the data space with hands on data engineering/development experience, preferably in a cloud/big data environment
  • Experience working with DevOps implementations in the data space encompassing advanced CICD practices
  • Prior experience in at least one of Spark, Python, PySpark, SQL or similar
  • Leadership experience in insight functions or equivalent, delivering data projects and insight to inspire action and drive benefits

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Manage an agile team of data engineers. Evolve their skillset and personal development, driving best practices and innovation
  • Take technical ownership of Data Engineering projects and products within the ODDA analytics ecosystem
  • Partner with the DevOps pillar to promote DevOps & CI/CD methodologies that work successfully within an agile environment
  • Facilitate the design & engineering of data products & pipelines in a cloud environment using a progressive tech stack
