Salary from £31,500 including company bonus

Mars are recruiting for a Continuous Improvement Technician, to own and execute Continuous Improvement agenda, in dedicated areas of Value stream. The role combines KPI analysis, problem solving, process management, coaching and project management.

Resolving issues and working across the factory site, this role will be a blend between both operational and functional support. The role will also offer the opportunity for personal development and growth.

What are we looking for?

  • Experience working in a manufacturing industry

  • Experience of continuous improvement or making recommendations for improvement

  • Excellent data analysis and excel skills

  • Good project management skills

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Coaching of operators about Continuous Improvement methodology to increase their productivity and knowledge about relevant standards, methods, and processes

  • Serve as a second level of support for operators in structural problem solving

  • Develop technology or process standards (SRC) and train operators accordingly

  • Regularly analyse area KPIs and propose actions to improve

  • Organize LEAN and Kaizen sessions to increase efficiency of dedicated area
