Job Description

As a Fleet Operations Analyst, you will work closely with our Fleet Operations team and other relevant stakeholders to understand business objectives and identify data-driven opportunities to provide value-adding data solutions that accelerate growth while improving operational excellence

Key Responsibilities:

Exp: 3 to 5 Years

Education: Engineering background from marine/naval architecture or related fields.

  • Support Fleet group and Operational support lead with Operational Excellence initiatives.

  • Support Fleet group with analysis on performance management.

  • Maintain organized data and prepare analysis on monthly performance, identify gaps and present data vessels level for monthly performance review with vessels and Fleet group.

  • Support the fleet group with cost down drive initiative and keeping a record of same

  • Support the FSI with monitor cost and performance on vessel level and analyze variances.

  • Track completion of TOP2 appraisals and quality of appraisals.

  • Support the FG with inventory management.

  • Build a backlog of cost saving initiatives and tradeoffs, incl risk reg which can be implemented on specific vessels and across the fleet.

  • Support with development of a model for cost benefit analyses for operation excellence

  • You are a self-motivated and a strong team player.

  • Your language skills are excellent in both written and spoken English, being the working language of the Company.

  • Bachelor´s degree

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in use of analytics tools like Power BI, MS-Excel

  • Exceptional attention to details

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work as part of one team.

  • Good to have working knowledge of programming languages like Python or R

Must-Have Qualifications & Skills:

Business Understanding & Mindset

  • Strong understanding of the business goals and objectives.

  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for data analysis.

Technical Skills

  • Proficient in Excel (advanced functionalities).

  • Skilled in Power BI for data visualization and reporting.

  • Strong SQL

  • Comfortable coding and querying large datasets.

Domain Knowledge

  • Engineering background preferred, ideally from marine/naval architecture or related fields.

  • Experience or understanding of fleet operations, asset management and vessel maintenance.

Communication & Presentation

  • Excellent presentation skills to effectively communicate insights and reports to stakeholders.

Good-to-Have Qualifications & Skills:

Machine Learning: Experience working with machine learning models.
