Job Description

An exceptional opportunity to join Maersk Contract Logistics during a dynamic period of growth and transformation. We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Continuous Improvement Operational Excellence Lead to champion Lean methodologies and drive process excellence across our warehousing operations in the NEC region.

We are looking for:

  • A highly structured and analytical thinker, experienced in dealing with sufficient details without losing the big picture.
  • A deep understanding of warehousing operations.
  • The ability to lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives using Lean tools such as 5S, DMAIC, PDCA, and Kaizen.
  • Experience in Lean in Warehousing environments with the skillset to deliver impactful Lean trainings and coach teams on operational excellence principles.
  • An individual with very high problem-solving skills. Not only theoretical but with concrete examples of implementation
  • Trainer / coaching experience for lean management topics
  • Process improvement & Project Management experience
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Result driven combined with the ability to achieve results through people,
  • Ability to juggle multiple timelines and overcome barriers to achieve what is needed,

Person Specification

  • 5 to 10 years of previous professional experience in warehousing environment,
  • German native speaker (C2),
  • English fluent (C1, minimum B2),
  • Frequent business trips in NEC Area – Germany, Poland, Netherland, and Belgium (country list is not exhaustive) – at least 50% of working time.

Desirable but Not Essential

  • Background in Solution Design (MTM, process mapping, pricing),
  • Polish speaker.
  • Green belt or Black belt certified (or any equivalent) preferred.
