THE GOAL

The aim of The Schipol Kiosk Manager will ensure our Production Unit delivers the highestquality food standards. The manager will lead and develop their team to continuously grow

performance and like for like sales. Our products are hand crafted so our Central Production

Unit Manager must be passionate about our products quality and our brand.

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

Department – Operations

Reporting to – Head of Operations Netherlands

Direct reports – Kitchen team of 10 – 30 staff

Working with (external and internal relationships) – Suppliers, Kitchen Staff,

Logistics/delivery companies, Quality Team, Regional Management

WHAT THEY DO

Ensure People Management

• Recruiting and training new staff working on shifts, including night shifts

• Developing existing staff capabilities

• Motivating and encouraging the team to achieve targets

• Managing team schedule and payroll

• Actively demonstrating company values drives values within the team

• Managing health and safety

Drive Operations Excellence

• Managing P&L

• Challenging food costs, expenses, waste and sales

• Coordinating production teams

• Planning the production

• Managing stock and controlling costs

• Providing continuous improvement in Operations

• Liaising with eco-system (suppliers, distributers, retailers, stores)

• Know the Food Safety Policy

Deliver High Quality Products

• Follow the menu book and product concept to the letter

• Ensuring full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

WHO THEY ARE

• Proven experience in a similar position within the catering/food &

beverage/hospitality/retail industry with exposure to food safety and quality issues

• Financial acumen, able to read and understand kitchen related figures

• Willing to work some weekend shifts

• Fluent Dutch & English

• Living for minimum 8 years in the Netherlands or Dutch Nationality

• Overall operation acumen and strong people skills

• Ability to work in an autonomous environment with minimum supervision

• Highly driven and result oriented

• Ability to effectively multi-task within a fast-paced environment

• Fast solving problem mind

• Reliable and efficient with meticulous attention to detail

• Good knowledge of Excel

• Full time contract position
