Job Description

We’re leading the way in defining what the metaverse can be. This is where you get to explore interconnected, immersive, exciting worlds that have never been seen before and where you decide what the future looks like. Are you ready?

The role

Product Engineers are full-stack engineers with a passion for not just engineering implementation, but directly driving the invention of new products and features, and solving end customer problems.

We’re looking for a talented engineering / product hybrid developer to help us build our metaverse engine and platform. You’ll be part of a dynamic, cross functional team of adaptable, creative, and product-focused engineers who prioritise shipping impactful, high-quality software and experiences.

Your Opportunity

  • Collaborating with a cross-functional team of frontend and backend engineers, producers, product specialists, and more to build and maintain the MSquared Platform.

  • Designing and implementing user-facing features using React and related Web technologies, ensuring smooth and intuitive user experiences.

  • Engaging with tech producers and leadership to understand user needs, define feature requirements, and transform these into practical, scalable solutions.

  • Iterating rapidly on feedback to ensure that products meet user expectations and deliver real impact.

  • Contributing to the product roadmap, helping to define the vision and strategy for the platform, and offering insights as a key technical voice within the team.

  • Making effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.

Why You’re Made For This

  • Proven experience building products with a focus on delivering user value and intuitive, seamless user experiences.

  • Expertise in React (or similar frontend frameworks) and proficiency in modern Web technologies like TypeScript, HTML, CSS.

  • Passion for virtual worlds, technology, and a keen interest in industry trends shaping the future of the metaverse and Web3.

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams.

  • A prototyping and rapid iteration mindset, comfortable delivering solutions quickly, iterating based on feedback, and evolving features to maximise impact.

  • Demonstrated ability to context-switch between various projects, collaborating across product and engineering teams.

  • Experience with any major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) is beneficial, but not required.

While we think the above experience could be important, we’re keen to hear from people who believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role. If you identify with the team and mission, but not all of our requirements, then please still apply.
