As a growing team this is a great opportunity for someone to not only produce great designs, but to own and champion human centred design. You will help us gain high confidence in what we should build through discovery and solution hypotheses, and support delivery through design system contribution, design output and pairing with other team members.

  • Assisting product engineers at the delivery phase, either through pairing or producing high fidelity designs (or both)
  • Helping us build out the Hubble design system.
  • Presenting designs and defending design decisions to the wider team and stakeholders.

  • Have 3+ years of experience in designing digital products
  • A strong problem-solving mindset with experience solving real-world problems through design.
  • Solid understanding of UX design principles and processes
  • An entrepreneurial and inquisitive nature with an understanding of design thinking.
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to explain and defend design decisions to peers and stakeholders.
  • Impressive UI design skills that balance usability and delight.
  • Experience working alongside engineers with a basic understanding of how things are built.
  • A self-aware, self-motivated and empathetic person.
  • Comfortable working alone and collaboratively with a highly cross-functional team.

Nice to haves:

  • Experience of working in a marketplace or SaaS company is a plus.
