What we're looking for
We are looking for a Business Development Manager with 1-2 years prior experience, ideally at an early-stage technology or SaaS company, who is comfortable doing outbound prospecting. The team is open, supportive and friendly and is looking for credible BDMs to join them. The ideal person should be able to work autonomously towards clear targets and collaborate when required. This is a hybrid role - the Business Development and Sales teams meet in our London office 1-2 days per week.
The Role
Hubble is growing, and our Business Development function is key to this growth. We have established excellent footing within the flexible, co-working provider space, and now we are focused on expanding our reach and acquiring more customers. As part of a broader sales function, you will partner with our workspace advisors and marketing team to generate new business meetings.
This is an outbound business development role within a supportive and collaborative team. This role reports to Anika, our Lead Business Development Manager, and you will work as part of a team of 5 business development managers. There is a lot of variety in the role and the scope to be creative. This is an exciting time at Hubble, and you will join a growing team within a scaling company.
Responsibilities
- Producing creative, original & personalised outreach to engage with potential customers
- Identifying potential customers from Hubble and leveraging a range of leading tools to help us identify and contact decision-makers within those accounts
- Educating customers on the Hubble value proposition and how we can specifically add value to their organisation
- Generating new-business meetings for the Hubble sales team
- Collaborating with a range of colleagues from different teams, supporting various revenue-focused initiatives
Requirements
- Energetic, passionate, and driven individual who enjoys collaboration and values teamwork
- Strong communication skills across email, video calls and in-person meetings.
- A consultative approach to understanding customers and their needs
- A forward-thinking approach to solving problems, comfortable using a variety of different technologies and tools
- Data and process driven, with a ‘continuous improvement mindset
- Happy taking the initiative, suggesting improvements and making decisions independent of others
- Strong sense of autonomy and ownership
