Trade Terms & Customer Agreements Manager

Function: Off Trade

Location: Field Based

Salary: £62,000 - £75,000 depending on experience, plus 15% flexible benefits, annual bonus, and benefits listed below

Contract: ​Permanent​

About the role:

We’re looking for a Trade Terms & Customer Agreements Manager to maximise the return on our c.£80m Trade Terms investment and embed strong Revenue Management principles across our Off Trade business.

In this highly influential role, you’ll define and deliver the Trade Terms and Joint Value Creation Agreement (JVCA) strategy, ensuring alignment to our global blueprint while tailoring it to the needs of the UK market. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Legal to optimise investment, improve profitability, and strengthen commercial capabilities across teams.

Some of the role’s key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and deliver a 3–5 year Trade Terms and JVCA strategy aligned to business and customer goals.

  • Localise the Global Trade Terms Framework into a clear, practical UK model.

  • Define and optimise investment levels across trade term categories to maximise ROI.

  • Lead and govern the Off Trade approach, shaping JVCAs in line with customer segmentation.

  • Partner with Sales to influence customers and implement Trade Terms changes effectively.

  • Own annual RADAR analysis and share actionable insights with stakeholders.

  • Work with Finance and Marketing on investment recommendations and brand pricing strategy.

  • Monitor and report on profitability and trade term structures across key customers.

  • Drive cross-functional capability and process improvements to enhance revenue and efficiency.

  • Lead the Terms strategy for legislative changes and ensure audit compliance on JVCAs.

About you:

You’re a commercially astute professional who combines analytical thinking with the ability to influence at every level. You thrive in complex, cross-functional environments and enjoy turning strategy into action that drives measurable results.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Strong experience managing Trade Terms and/or JVCAs within FMCG or similar sectors.

  • Proven track record translating strategy into delivery and managing large-scale commercial projects.

  • Demonstrated success in change management and capability-building initiatives.

  • Experience improving business processes and embedding new ways of working.

  • Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills.

Our Ways of Working
Our office sites operate a hybrid model. You’ll spend Tuesdays, Thursdays and one other day in the office and two days from home, although but you’re more than welcome to come and work from the office on those days too.
