SALARY: £51,000 - £56,500 per annum

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Neurodevelopment Team Lead position requires an individual who is able to lead, motivate and manage staff working within the Healios Autism and ADHD Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that staff within the team have high quality management and clinical supervision and training, ensuring consistent high quality assessments for the children and adults we engage with. They will also chair the MDT and have responsibility for diagnostic decision making.

To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:

  • First level nursing qualification/registration RN; or First level qualification in OT, social work, psychology, speech and language therapy

  • Registered with a statutory body (NMC, HCPC, ACP, BABCP, UKCP or BACP)

  • Line management or supervisory experience

  • ADOS and ADI-r trained and experienced

  • At least 2 years experience in autism diagnostic assessments

  • Experience of delivering support / interventions to neurodiverse children and / or adults

  • Real passion for supporting people to improve their lives

  • A desire to become part of a collaborative environment and share knowledge and learning for the benefit of all

  • A curious mind-set that underpins your continuous drive to challenge the status quo for achieving better outcomes

  • Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carer and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS

PRE- EMPLOYMENT CHECKS

As part of our pre-employment checks, all employees of Healios will be asked to have a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Dependent on your role within the business, this will either be an Enhanced or Basic. A Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) check will be required. You will also be asked to provide two professional references as a minimum.
