THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for a passionate Junior Designer to join our small but very busy team. As part of the larger Growth team, you will directly support two highly experienced designers and the Head of Brand, in creating engaging and compelling designs across a range of online and offline channels, according to requirements, working closely with the marketing and PR and Comms teams. Some of these duties will include: leaflets, posters, email campaigns, presentations, brochures, website content, social media platforms, and other documents. You will work to bespoke creative briefs and gain experience in many areas of design, including UX, CX, and UI. You should be highly creative and have a sharp eye for detail. You will attend virtual meetings, take notes and undertake a range of other duties and projects to assist the design team, including research, mood board creation and illustration. You will be creating slide decks for many stakeholders across the company and so experience in presentation design would be extremely useful.
Your overall goal is to help create impactful designs and brilliant ideas that capture and promote our company vision. Communication is a big part of the job, as well as keeping a finger on the pulse of current trends. Supervision and training will be provided to assist your professional development and career progression here at Healios.
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
- A degree in design. All areas are considered, but graphic Design experience is a must
- Experience in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, Figma and InDesign preferred
- Experienced in using Google Slides highly desirable
- An adaptable skill set and willingness to learn new systems and software
- An ability to establish rapport with a wide variety of people
- An extremely strong ability to work independently, remotely, reliably and consistently
- Previous experience working in an agency or health care industry desirable
- A professional home working environment
- Wifi connection. Minimum of 2 mbps up and download speed
- Real passion for supporting people to improve their lives
- A desire to become part of a collaborative environment and share knowledge and learning for the benefit of all
- A curious mind-set that underpins your continuous drive to challenge the status quo for achieving better outcomes
- Well-developed skills in the ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, complex, highly technical and/or clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carer and other professional colleagues both within and outside the NHS
