Job Description

Are you looking for a Product Managment role that will allow you to collaborate with key business stakeholders including the CEO to define the strategy and roadmap for our product? Can you deliver quality whilst demonstrating value to the user in a fast paced, high growth SaaS environment? If yes then we’d love to hear from you!

Goodlord digitalises the renting process for agents, landlords, and tenants. The platform streamlines everything from referencing right through to rent collection, making the process easier and more transparent for everyone.

What will I be doing?

  • You will be responsible for product discovery, collaborating closely with the product design & engineering teams, running customer research, competitor analysis, and building understanding of the problems we need to solve and opportunities we should take.
  • Collaborating with the CEO and other key business stakeholders to define the strategy and roadmap for one of our product areas, whilst creating buy-in for the features you are building.
  • Communicating with stakeholders across all functions of the business as well as externally in order to ensure there’s a constant flow of information between all parties.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the voice of the customer is heard throughout the product development process, from speaking with our Customer Support & Success teams to interviewing customers on a regular basis.
  • You will be in charge of maintaining the product backlog and will run key product activities such as backlog refinement, grooming, developing user stories, etc.
  • You will work closely with Marketing, Customer Success & Support to ensure feature releases are successful, whilst measuring the impact the feature has post release.

What will I need to succeed?

You’ll have all the usual experience of stakeholder management, prioritisation skills etc but importantly, the Product Manager we need, will have direct experience in and can provide examples of:

  • User Centricity: Helping stakeholders and team members to understand the needs of our users, whilst translating these needs into user stories that provide clarity to the development team of the proposed solution.
  • Product Ownership: Defining roadmaps for the short and long term, being able to prioritise features and issues, in alignment with company objectives. Whilst ensuring stakeholders and the wider business are kept informed.
  • Delivery Bias: Delivering quality whilst demonstrating value to the user at a fast and regular pace and educating the business on the importance of getting software out the door.
  • Results orientated: Ensuring the team, stakeholders and the wider business understand the expected outcome of any work being planned or delivered, what success looks like and how it is measured.
  • Communication: Proactively communicate to the business, objectives, priorities, plans, issues, changes, progress etc. ensuring the message is delivered to the right people and the appropriate records are kept.
  • Analytics focused: Utilising quantitative and qualitative data to inform decision-making and uncover new product opportunities and defining metrics to track and measure customer and business benefit for new products and features
