📍 Hybrid - 2 days per week in London (E1) and 3 days remote - you are welcome in the office if you wish though!
Goodlord’s mission is to provide the best renting experience in the world and we’re on the hunt for a data analyst, to help us achieve this.
No two days are ever the same at Goodlord so what you’ll be up to will vary. The pace we move at also means priorities will change and you’ll need to be comfortable with this (we’ll support you!). But these are the things that will be core to your role and will keep you busy.
The day to day stuff:
- Developing self service data tools and automated reports for our internal teams and external customers
- Supporting month-end reports
- Developing reports and building dashboards in Tableau
- Working with various departments to help identify their requirements & data sources and provide data visualisation solutions
- Assisting the marketing team to provide the required data for the press
You should apply if you have:
- Strong SQL, analysis and reporting experience using BI software, (we use Tableau, but we don’t mind what you’ve used!) within a commerical role
- Solid commercial experience
- An analytical mind
- An exceptional ability to present and deliver complex insight to a range of audiences
- The ability to analyse business data to recognise trends and other insights that can be used to drive business direction
- High attention to detail and willingness to question and interrogate
- Commercial awareness - understanding the data/results and how this impacts the business in meeting its goals and objectives
It would also be great if you had:
- Understanding of development, data modeling and ETL knowledge that includes Data warehouse
- Experience of using BigQuery or similar data warehouse
- experience applying quantitative methods to real-world problems
- experience in Test -and-learn methodologies and measuring ROI
We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, landlord and tenant. We knew generation rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we could provide a solution.
And we did. Like all high growth companies it’s been a bit of a roller coaster journey, but we’re now stronger than ever, with over 2500 happy customers and exciting new products. We have ambitious plans but with William Reeve at the helm alongside co-founder Tom Mundy and a brilliant team of over 200 talented Goodlordians we are confident we’ll achieve these.
