Marketing Communications Specialist

Job Description

About you:

  • You’re a demand-driven marketer who understands the role of marketing in the modern customer journey

  • You are an excellent communicator, who has a passion for creating persuasive and personalised messaging for the right audience

  • You will be responsible for delivering marketing messaging for multiple channels in a clear and consistent way that will nurture prospects from awareness to evangelism

  • You’ll use your digital marketing skills to plan and execute campaigns and reach our audience using owned and paid media including paid ads, SEO and social media. You’ll then educate and nurture them using automation, personalisation and account-based marketing.

  • This role is critical to new business sales for Filtered and to bringing better learning to people and organisations around the world.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver and report on agile tactical marketing campaigns to supplement wider team activity

  • Create marketing messaging that is consistent across multiple channels

  • Manage and optimise paid media channels including PPC and paid social

  • Lead and improve our SEO capability to build a sustainable competitive advantage

  • Optimise conversion rates across owned media through A/B testing

  • Monitor lead qualification and manage nurturing campaigns, working closely with the business development team

Location & hours:

This is marked as a full-time role. In practice, we can offer some flexibility around hours.

Many colleagues are remote, but this role would benefit from regular contact with the UK-based Leadership Team, so we expect you’re:

  • Probably UK-based (with right to work in the UK), or a close timezone.

  • Able to meet in London at least once a month (flexible).

  • With the option to work remotely for a few months of the year if you choose.

  • We moved out of our London (Shoreditch) office over the pandemic, and currently meet up in co-working spaces regularly. We are considering whether to establish a permanent office again in future.
