THE ROLEOff-White is looking for a Trims R&D Coordinator, RTW, to join the Ready-to-Wear Product Office and support the Product and Creative team in successfully managing the development process from initial concept to finished product. Responding to the Collection Coordinator, s/he will support in taking designs from initial idea to execution.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Research, plan, and support in the management of metal accessories and trims for Ready-to-Wear
- Work closely with other members of the design and product development team according to seasonal structure to lead to on time delivery of metal accessories and trims.
- Be the point of contact with leading metal accessories and trims manufacturers on all product development projects
- Support in the management of metal accessories and trims orders ensuring costs and quality are in line with the budget and brand identity
- Review all prototypes and samples and communicate feedback to suppliers together with the production team
- Complete technical product data sheets
WHO YOU ARE
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion design or similar is preferred
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Tools – Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Excellent knowledge and use of Adobe suite – Photoshop Illustrator, InDesign
- Good knowledge and use of PLM systems
- Fluent in English written and spoken, this will be tested in the interview process
- Multitasker, who is accurate and pays close attention to detail
- Problem solver with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized, flexible with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced everchanging environment
