LONDONOur London office is located in Old Street, London’s tech hub, and is home to a broad range of teams including Commercial, Marketing, and Product. Our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideas, or you can enjoy some quiet time in our dedicated library. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host events.
THE ROLEAs a SEO Senior Technical Specialist within the SEO team, you will drive organic performance success through technical optimisation. You will work closely with the Tech, Product, UX, Data, Analytics and SEO to implement projects that will ultimately deliver sustainable growth by supporting the development of the FARFETCH marketplace. You will report into the senior SEO technical manager and support them to deliver business and channel goals as well as representing our global brand and values.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Work with Senior SEO Technical Manager and drive scalable technical projects aligned to overall business goals.
  • Monitor KPIs aligned with technical optimisation and carries out competitor analysis across key markets to effectively diagnose and identify technical opportunities.
  • Working with tech and product, support the optimisation of the FARFETCH marketplace by providing SEO guidance and training following Google guidelines.
  • Support the crawlability and indexation strategy and the relationship with the technology provider.
  • Monitor the performance of key markets within a defined region and provides insights and recommendations on SEO opportunities within those markets.
  • Build relationships with peers, and always live the FARFETCH values.
  • Stay ahead of advancements across the FARFETCH business and in general the SEO industry to leverage new capabilities.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Thinks globally, puts the customer at the heart, and considers the intricacies of luxury fashion to capitalise on ecommerce SEO.
  • Confident user of enterprise SEO tools such as Botify and Demand Sphere.
  • Experience with multi million pages websites, preferably within the E-commerce industry.
  • Proven ability in analysing millions of data points (log files, crawl data, traffic, commercial…) to identify opportunities and create comprehensive business plans in order to prioritise execution with Product and Engineering teams.
  • Commercially minded.
  • Exceptional problem solver that thinks innovatively, creatively and experience of anticipating business area challenges and proposing solutions on a short-and-long-term basis.
  • Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
