FARFETCH PLATFORM SOLUTIONS (FPS):
We’re the team that builds e-commerce for luxury. Ranging from Product, to Commercial, to Client Services to Marketing, we’re the B2B side of FARFETCH building white label websites, apps and retail technology for world-leading brands and retailers. We’re a diverse group of fashion and tech lovers all with the same goal - to build, and become the global platform for luxury.
THE ROLE:
This role sits within the Commercial team under Performance Marketing. As a senior SEO specialist for FPS, you will be responsible for leading on large-scale international organic search strategies for multiple brands. You will be a strategic thinker who can analyse data and draw actionable conclusions to improve organic visibility. You will deepen your knowledge of all areas of SEO- with a focus on international, content strategy & technical. You will also be responsible for presenting back performance and findings to clients. Alongside actioning client requests, you will be required to work and collaborate with any agencies that your client may have. You will also be working with the Ecommerce team and other Digital Marketing teams to plan and execute a holistic strategy, to drive trade for the brands during key moments throughout the year.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Be the main point of contact for all SEO aspects relating to clients day to day & longer term strategic initiatives
  • Working closely with your performance marketing counterpart to champion client success and trade, including forecasting performance
  • Collaborate with the client and various internal teams to identify key strategic opportunities, produce recommendations and insights to define your clients’ SEO roadmap and strategy
  • Run regular crawls to audit search engine crawl behavior of your clients’ websites, identifying problems if any and putting forward solutions
  • Regularly be working to monitor, identify and provide fixes for any technical issues flagged in crawls, Google Search Console and our other tools
  • Liaise with various internal teams, such as product & developers, to discuss technical SEO developments and fixes
  • Make updates in our CMS for various SEO tags and files when needed
  • Create & execute the SEO strategy in your clients core markets to drive traffic, revenue and new customer acquisition
  • Confidently lead on client and internal calls for SEO updates
  • Perform market and competitor research to inform and support your clients’ SEO strategy
  • Track organic keyword rankings and provide actionable insights to relevant stakeholders
  • Assist and build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders to ensure SEO best practices are at the forefront of everyone’s minds & provide training when required

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have strong overall SEO knowledge and are passionate about SEO
  • You are comfortable tackling technical site challenges
  • Well organised and experienced at working in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong communicator who is comfortable managing a project with multiple stakeholders and building relationships internally and externally
  • Experienced in using Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Screaming Frog
  • Have a basic understanding of HTML/JavaScript
  • Can create and execute SEO strategies based on wider business goals
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, be able to use data to measure performance and identify areas of improvement based off the data
