OFFICEOur new office in Via Turati is a strategic hub and home to all of the NGG staff functions. Turati is where the behind-the-scenes driving force of NGG is brought to life; this is harmonised with the archive exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the office
THE ROLE NGGH++ is looking for a Senior Merchandising Manager, you will report to the VP, Product and oversee the sports footwear division by developing the collections to fully address market opportunities while maintaining coherence with the brand image and standards of excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- You will identify, analyze and report on market and competitor products, pricing, and positioning in the various global markets
- Weekly monitoring of sales
- You will develop post-sales campaign reports (sell in by region/country/global, best sellers, etc.)
- You will prepare merchandise plans to define new collections and liaise with the Design Team on new product specs
- You will follow up with the Production team to ensure delivery times are respected
- You will participate in sales campaigns and produce all supporting materials and buying tools including but not limited to KPIs, photos and samples, catalogues, product style codes, exit lists
- You will develop training manuals and presentations with details product briefs for regional buyers
- Constant market research and competitor analysis
WHO YOU ARE
- You have 6+ years of experience in a similar role preferably in a sports brand or the fashion luxury industry
- You have a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Merchandising, or similar; a Master's is a plus
- You have extensive knowledge of the sports and luxury industry with great product sensitivity
- You have proven experience in qualitative and quantitative research design, analysis, and consumer insights
- You have excellent communications skills both in writing and in delivering presentations
- You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- You have a great eye for detail, flexible with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- You are fluent in English written and spoken, an additional language is a plus
