THE ROLEFARFETCH Media Solutions operates at the intersection of luxury e-commerce and advertising. As the Media Solutions Account Strategy Executive you will support the sales team on account management from pre-sale to post-sale. You will bring your deep knowledge of the purchasing funnel, ad products, KPIs, and rates to support the sales team in developing compelling media plans and proposals that will deliver to their goal. You will partner closely with sales leaders, media ops peers, and product marketing to establish account strategies that ensure advertiser satisfaction and revenue growth. You will report into the senior strategy and planning manager while the day-to-day will be spent supporting the sales team directly
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Serve as a knowledgeable partner on FF product suite and campaign workflow, effectively supporting sales from pre-sale to post sale. This may include but is not limited to media plan development, pre-campaign insights, proposal development, process and workflow support such as inventory booking, campaign management support, end of campaign report development, and preparation for market trips.
- Maintain an expert understanding of our ad products and capabilities and partner with related teams in all pre-sale efforts
- Act as a primary stakeholder in brainstorm sessions with Sales; speaking to the client’s historical media spend, performance, as well as provide recommendations on product packaging
- Support sales reps through the end-to-end pitch process, advise on media budget distribution across multiple ad products and platforms taking into consideration the Farfetch suite of ad products, guidelines and best practices.
- Create and project manage complex cross-functional proposals that drive revenue, accomplish client KPIs, maintain profit margin and comply with our business rules; act as the point of contact cross-functionally to develop best-in-class solutions for key accounts.
- Maintain campaign pipeline, managing orders in the system as they work their way down the sales funnel (reserve inventory, manage relation with inventory team)
- Ensure all campaign detail aligns between the media plan, IO, and Salesforce and maintain this alignment throughout the campaign pre-sale lifecycle.
- Attend weekly meetings with assigned sales/business unit leads and provide updates on the campaign pipeline; support the sales team in client meetings when necessary.
- Manage the communication of plan details to Planning and Ops to ensure a seamless launch; evaluate success metrics and be vocal with key optimizations needed in flight to improve performance.
- Standardise media plan formats, IOs, and liaise with accounting teams to ensure correct billing and payment of account invoices
WHO YOU ARE
- You have digital experience with a background in marketing analysis, media and sales planning and/or strategy, yield/pricing. You have worked in publishing, digital advertising, and/or retail media
- You’re able to independently prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines across multiple clients
- You have a flexible, personable attitude; ability to develop excellent professional relationships internally and externally
- You are customer service oriented
- Previous experience preferred: Salesforce, Microsoft/Google Business Suite, Adpoint, Google Ad Manager and Social Media Platforms
- Experience performing complex excel functions a plus
