THE ROLE A brand new role to sitting within our Logistics team, we are looking for a Logistics & Transfers Coordinator for with strong data and analytical skills & logistical experience to work closely with the wider business and our 3PL partners moving stock between global fulfilment sites inbounding stock globally and resolving customs border issues plus motoring the day to day operation and providing reporting to the business to allow process improvements and faster speed to market.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Arranging inbound stock movements from suppliers into the warehouse with a range of carriers, maintaining cost effectiveness and agreed lead times throughout;
  • Assist inbound bookings team at 3PL to ensure timely and smooth deliveries;
  • Resolving and motoring customs border issues to allow stock to flow freely and to ensure compliance;
  • Implementing new processes concerned with the reporting of stock movement wherever there is room to improve;
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across the Farfetch Group such as the Operations, supply chain and external stakeholders, to gain insight of current challenges and risks to compliance;
  • Champion for Browns new ERP system to ensure all data uploads are correct;
  • Communicate with parties external to the organisation (carriers, suppliers, Brands) and internally (Retail, Finance, Tech, Operations across Browns and Farfetch);
  • Maintain and communicate key reports relating to internal and store transfers with internal stakeholders;
  • Coordinate with 3PL transfer team and other FF stakeholders any issues related to transfers;
  • Check Packing list and other key documents for accuracy;
  • Coordinate electronic generation of invoice with AP team and other stakeholders;
  • Everyday checks all the tracking numbers on the studio and transfer log to make sure they arrive in a timely manner;
  • Assist with wider business ad-hoc reporting requirements.

WHO YOU ARE

  • Analytical, able to interpret opportunities, trends and issues in data;
  • Good understanding of Logistics and border/tariff rules;
  • Understanding of warehouse operations and process;
  • Experience in Retail and E-commerce, with particular focus on multi-channel environments;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Understanding of 3PL relationship with the clients;
  • Problem solving;
  • Have worked with wider supply chain;
  • Ability to think strategically and innovatively and to that in to a viable, operational plan;
  • Professional demeanour, reliable, flexible, strategic with a hands-on approach, with the ability to stay calm under pressure.
