TURATIOur new office in Via Turati is a strategic hub and home to all of the NGG staff functions. Turati is where the behind-the-scenes driving force of NGG is brought to life; this is harmonised with the archive exhibits of brand collaborations found throughout the office
THE ROLE New Guards Group is looking for a Junior Financial Controller. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager as part of the Corporate FP&A team. You will be responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting in collaboration with crucial departments, monitoring results against budget/forecast, and providing both strategic insights and in-depth analysis.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • You will prepare a budget and business plan with monitoring responsibility for the different entities of the group;
  • You will support in developing periodic presentations and decks for top management on monthly and quarterly results;
  • You will monitor expenses, investigating discrepancies with the budget;
  • You will perform a rolling forecast process for all the entities of the group and at a consolidated level;
  • You will work on month-end financial reporting activities.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 1-2 years of experience in controlling, consulting, or in a similar role
  • You have a BA in Economics disciplines
  • Previous experience in the fashion industry will be considered a plus
  • You have excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • You have knowledge of the main MS Office tools (excellent Excel and PowerPoint proficiency)
  • You have previous financial modeling experience (budgeting and monitoring)
  • You have strong analytical skills
  • You can use Navision / Qlik
  • You have the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners
  • You have a hands-on approach and willingness to work in a team
