THE ROLEThe Head of Logistics - Carrier management will join the Delivery team within the Logistics department, reporting to the Senior Head of Delivery Operations. You will be an essential player in our mission to provide an unrivalled experience to our customers all around the world. You will lead a large team and work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across the business. You will be working with the senior leadership team and not be afraid of a challenge

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will lead a team of specialists, analysts and their line managers focusing on setting up new and continuously improve existing relationships and performance of our delivery services providers.
  • You will have a performance management approach to all matters within your responsibility in order to manage the team and suppliers in an effective manner that is aligned with the overall company goals.
  • You will work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders within the company, from all around the world, from tech to finance, operations, and customer experience in order to develop a solid end-to-end visibility of the impacts and dependencies of delivery.
  • You will be working with Senior leadership to define the strategy of the Delivery and Logistics department.
  • You will promote and advocate for a continuous improvement mindset and will continuously develop your team to adapt to a fast-paced and continuously evolving environment.
  • You will have service levels and budget accountability for strategic partnerships with external providers.

WHO YOU ARE

  • You have 10+ years of experience in a senior management role in Operations or as a Strategy/Operations consultant.
  • You are focused on results and have a performance-oriented mindset with ability to prioritize effectively and in alignment with the overall company strategy and KPIs, in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • You have strong people management skills, and you can promote high levels of trust, enthusiasm and commitment. You have your team’s development, well-being and happiness in the workplace on the top of your priorities alongside the company’s operational and financial performance.
  • You have strong interpersonal, relationship and communication skills, both verbally and written, that allow you to influence and communicate, with adapted speech and level of detail, to different levels of the organization.
  • University degree is mandatory, MBA is a plus.
  • Fluent in English - both written and verbal (mandatory)
