Freelance Product & Operational Content Writer - Italian

4 days/week at home

Job Description

THE ROLE

Reporting directly into the Content Lead - Italian, you will be responsible for transcreating and localizing product and operational content. You will ensure that our copy is customer-centric, effective and tailored across all FARFETCH channels, whilst capturing and protecting the FARFETCH tone of voice. Proven experience writing and transcreating content is preferred, as is having a sound understanding of the luxury e-commerce landscape in Italy. To succeed in this role, you must have an extensive knowledge of the Italian language. You’ll benefit from working with a large multi-lingual team of around 120+ employees within FARFETCH, which will present unique opportunities to interact with various departments and to learn cutting-edge localisation tools and solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will localise UX content (Onsite and iOS, Android) in Italian that reflects our brand's tone of voice
  • You will localise or create customer service content in Italian by communicating with the local customer service team to address customer's pain points
  • You will localise partner surveys and communications
  • You will support the localisation of editorial product descriptions
  • You will support the Italian content team in terms of market and trend research
  • You will become a quality guardian for our Italian tone of voice and all localized contents live on FF.com

WHO YOU ARE

  • You are fluent in Italian (native level)
  • You have a good writing style that is precise, adaptable and inspiring, with an impeccable use of grammar
  • You have knowledge and love of fashion at all levels from high-end designers to cutting edge street style
  • You have good knowledge and skills of transcreation
  • You are keen eyes for detail and accuracy
  • You are well organised and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
  • You are comfortable with digital work on an in-house CMS
  • You have sound knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
  • You are comfortable working with CAT Tools
  • You are open-minded and have a collaborative mindset
