Job Description

THE ROLE

Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure all three Browns retail sites including our Flagship Store in Mayfair continue to operate efficiently, be reflective of our brand, be representative of our people and clients and are a safe and engaging place to work and visit.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • A key contributor in ensuring our sites perform as best they can aligned with our company brand and values.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the FARFETCH business ensuring needs across the teams are met; visual merchandising, retail, personal shopping team and our restaurant partner.
  • Support the Facilities Manager with all maintenance issues across the x3 sites, ensuring stakeholders remain informed and all maintenance logs are kept up to date and reviewed periodically.
  • Support with the scheduling of supplier/contractor visits e.g. scheduling in improvement works and preventative and reactive maintenance visits, whilst ensuring store operations are not interrupted. Identify, and highlight any risks identified (to safety or product) to the FM.
  • Oversee the maintenance calendar ensuring all key stakeholders are made aware of works that may impact their areas.
  • Work closely with 3rd party suppliers to build excellent working relationships with a keen focus on quality of work, timely completion of work and that we receive value for money.
  • Work closely with the Facilities Manager to ensure that Health & Safety remains part of the retail culture and is embedded in everything we do. Report any defective equipment, potential hazards, and where necessary arrange a timely resolution of issues.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in arranging Health & Safety training and take ownership of maintaining H&S checks and logs across all x3 sites e.g. Browns employee training records, first aid boxes, accident records, reported hazards and near misses.
  • Manage all site equipment ensuring equipment is maintained, serviced regularly and remains fit for purpose.
  • Work closely with our procurement and accounting team to ensure we remain compliant with group policy in terms of raising PO’s and supplier creation.
  • Play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the back of house provision, ensuring it is a welcoming and orderly environment for staff to both work and rest.
  • Working with the wider team, assist with the planning and coordination of staff events.

  • Willingness and aptitude to learn.
  • Able to work with Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of accuracy for maintaining records
  • Able to problem solve and logical
  • Ability to remain calm
  • Have a sense of fun and the ability to liaise at all levels
