THE ROLEReporting to the Senior Head of Fraud, the Digital Loss Prevention Manager will develop a team focused on reducing loss/risk across our E2E customer journey. They will drive the global strategy and performance of digital loss prevention methods across the Farfetch platform. The function will provide analysis and insight that will drive direction and prioritization of the digital loss prevention strategy, establishing focus on the key areas of loss and risk.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Collaborate with the Senior Head of Fraud to shape the global digital loss prevention strategy, and develop a team to execute upon it. You'll work with key stakeholders across Service teams, Logistics, Technology, Product, FPS, Commercial, Finance, Security, Growth and more to make this vision a reality.
  • Operate and continuously build-out fraud prevention methods to detect customer compensation fraud, item-not-received abuse, refund and returns fraud, policy abuse and internal fraud. Lead cross-team projects to solve problems at their root, or to effectively manage risks.
  • Implement and deliver continuous improvements in our policy abuse KPIs (fraud losses, accuracy rates etc.) to achieve the optimum balance between protecting our business from loss, and in enabling growth.
  • Develop and lead a team of digital loss prevention analysts, to effectively implement and maintain operational strategies to reduce overall digital loss.
  • Represent Fraud and Fintech in internal forums and strategic cross-functional projects, or externally with our logistics partners.
  • Manage and develop the partnerships with our external fraud partners around the globe, ensuring your team leverages the strengths of our existing and future partners to deliver maximum value to our company.

WHO YOU ARE

  • An experienced and passionate fraud/risk/customer and internal abuse SME and leader.
  • You have worked in an international e-commerce company within a fraud or risk function.
  • You're experienced working with and designing fraud processes or services with a high level of automation through ML/AI solutions.
  • You're a strong communicator, and able to break down complex subjects for experts and novices on the subject alike. You're comfortable presenting to a senior audience.
  • You're strategically minded and plan ahead, but you balance this with the ability to execute and solve problems as they happen.
  • You're comfortable in navigating through occasional situations of ambiguity or uncertainty in the dynamic environment that is fraud management.
  • You're resilient in the face of challenges.
  • Fluent English both spoken and written.
