Recruitment at Duffel

With the support and partnership of other teams in the company, the recruiting team are responsible for building the team at Duffel. Through hiring manager and stakeholder collaboration, you'll identify, engage, and hire talented people as we go on our growth journey in the years to come.

Hiring for a startup can be challenging, but we've invested in growing our recruitment team and developing hiring practices over the last few years. You'll be walking into an environment where there is a consistent hiring method with interviewers trained to deliver great candidate experiences.

This role will suit somebody who enjoys the challenge of finding talented people in both product management and software engineering fields and working with your hiring teams to bring that talent to the company.

What we're looking for in you

  • Previous experience in a full life cycle recruiting role; candidate sourcing & engagement, interview management, offer negotiations and managing the process throughout with hiring managers.
  • Previous experience recruiting for product management and software engineering positions
  • Quality over quantity of hire approach to recruiting. You value clear and consistent communication with your hiring teams to build a partnership based on trust and collaboration.
  • You're able to attract high quality and in-demand talent, be it passive or active candidates. You should be an engaging storyteller to create and deliver authentic value propositions to candidates.
  • You're an advocate for inclusive candidate and interviewer experiences. You're able to spot when things go off track or fall below the standards required and make changes to evolve our processes in the months and years to come.
  • You'll have a great team to support you but you also need to be comfortable working independently and have a level of comfort setting and achieving your own goals.
  • You like clean documentation. From interview guides & processes to reporting & tracking, to keeping our ATS (Lever) as pristine as possible.
  • You're reasonably comfortable with the ambiguity that can come with start-ups
