Job Description

About the team

The Research team is essential for championing the voice of our audiences and fueling product innovation with objective, actionable insights. Our Research Operations team plays a critical role in supporting a core company value: focusing intently on the customer experience.

About the role

The internship runs for 12 months, giving you a full year of hands-on experience. As a Global Research Operations Coordinator , you will be the direct link between the company and its customers, enabling researchers to engage with real users to gather insights. This is a high-impact, high-visibility position where you'll collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a customer-centric mindset drives innovation. You will join a supportive, experienced team that values fast execution, shared knowledge, and a trusted presence across the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Execute with speed and precision: Build and deploy research outreach campaigns at scale, ensuring seamless coordination without sacrificing quality or detail.

  • Drive strategic recruitment: Collaborate with researchers to refine recruitment plans, improve messaging, and maximise participant engagement.

  • Communicate relentlessly: Keep study leads consistently informed about recruitment progress, timelines, and any potential risks or blockers.

  • Prioritise decisively: Reassess priorities daily to meet tight deadlines and effectively balance competing study needs.

  • Manage logistics and documentation: Coordinate interview scheduling, handle incentive distribution, and maintain clean, up-to-date documentation across research tools.

  • Anticipate and mitigate risks: Spot issues before they surface, proactively propose solutions, and escalate when needed to keep research projects on track.

  • Collaborate effectively: Partner with various teams across the company, gaining exposure to how different functions operate and how decisions are made.

  • Support the research mission: Act as the person who enables researchers to gather the insights that shape everything from product features to business strategy.

Requirements

  • Strong interest or academic focus in research coordination, participant recruitment, or project management.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks or academic projects concurrently.

  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • A highly detail-oriented mindset, a proactive attitude, and strong follow-through on assignments.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment (e.g., academic, club, or prior work setting).

  • Basic experience with coordinating logistics and documentation (e.g., scheduling, managing data).

  • Familiarity with general tools used for outreach or data tracking (e.g., survey tools, email platforms, spreadsheets).

  • Speaking other languages is a bonus!
